Day 01: Arrive Kolkata
Our representative will meet you on your arrival at Kolkata International Airport and transferred to the hotel of your choice. Kolkata is the most important gateway to Eastern India is also the city where the East India Company first set up their base in the 17th century. Then at night you shall stay in Kolkata.
Day 02: In Kolkata
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a sight-seeing tour of Kolkata visiting the Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, Fort William and the Eden Gardens. You will see the Evening Sound and Light show at the Victoria Memorial. You will the night spend night in Kolkata.
Day 03: Kolkata-Bagdogra-Darjeeling
After breakfast, transfer to Airport intime to board flight for Bagdogra. Bagdogra is located about 100 kms from Darjeeling is the nearest airport for Darjeeling. Darjeeling at an altitude of 2134m facing the Himalayas dominated by Mt. Kanchenjunga was the summer resort of the British, and now one of Eastern India's most popular Hill stations. On your arrival in Darjeeling check into the Hotel of your choice. Then you shall stay the rest of the night in Darjeeling.
Day 04: In Darjeeling
On day four you shall start very early for an excursion to Tiger Hill, to witness the beauty of the sun rise over the Himalayas. On the way back visit Ghoom Samten, Chholing monastery & Darli monastery. After late breakfast, leave for a guided tour of Darjeeling town visiting the Mountaineering Institute, Zoo, Rope Ways, Tenzin Rock, Tibet Handicraft Centre and the Tea gardens. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 05: Darjeeling-Gangtok
After breakfast you shall depart for Gangtok (the capital of Sikkim) by road (90 kms/03 hrs). On your arrival in Gangtok check in to the hotel of your choice. You will stay the night over in Gangtok
Day 06: In Gangtok
You will have the breakfast at the Hotel followed by a sight-seeing tour of Gangtok visiting Research Institute of Tibetology, Dodrul Chorten - one of the most important stupas in Sikkim, Sa-ngor Chos-Tsog Centre - a Tibetan refugee monastic institution, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handlooms, Tashi Viewpoint - offering a superb view of Kanchenjunga, Enchey monastery, Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok. Overnight in Gangtok.
Day 07: Gangtok - Kalimpong
After breakfast you will be ready to depart for Kalimpong by road (100 kms/03 hrs). Together with Darjeeling and Gangtok, this small and quiet hill resort forms the Golden Triangle of the Eastern Himalayas. On your arrival in Kailmpong you shall check into the Hotel of your choice. You shall then stay the rest of night in Kalimpong.
Day 08: In Kalimpong
You shall be provided with Breakfast at the Hotel followed by a sight-seeing tour of Kalimpong visiting Dr. Graham's Home, started in 1900 by a Scottish missionary, who along with his wife, dedicated their lives in building up this beautiful complex for the education & care of orphans & other deprived children, the Thapa Choling monastery, Thongsa monastery and Durpin Dara, which towers over Kalimpong & affords a breathtaking view of the plains rolling down to Siliguri. You shall stay overnight in a hotel in Kalimpong.
Day 09: Kalimpong-Bagdogra-Kolkata
After breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra airport (80 kms/03 hrs) intime to board flight for Kolkata.
